Immunization Cards and Immunization Records

Manitoba Immunization Verifier Application

The Manitoba Immunization Verifier app allows individuals and businesses to seamlessly scan the QR code on a Manitoba Immunization card or a Pan-Canadian PVC to confirm if an individual is fully immunized. When a QR code is scanned, the device will display a green screen with a checkmark and the person’s name to indicate they are immunized, or a red screen with an ‘x’ to indicate either the person does not meet the Manitoba eligibility requirements on their PVC, or there is a technical issue that caused the failure.

A government issued photo ID should be used to confirm the identify of the individual presenting the QR code.

Manitoba Immunization

Manitobans are strongly encouraged to use their Manitoba Immunization card within Manitoba. The QR code contains only the name and immunization status.

Pan-Canadian Proof of Vaccination Credential (PVC)

The Pan-Canadian PVC is issued by the individual provinces and territories in Canada. They all meet the same standard in terms of look and feel. However, the provinces and territories may not have the same eligibility rules as Manitoba. Visitors are encouraged to check the Province of Manitoba | For Residents website for more information.
